While there are lots of meetups for lovers of poetry, information about where and when one can speak to an audience is widely dispersed and often difficult to track down. TPOM's goal is to create and maintain a regular schedule of poetry open mics where poets and poetry lovers can read their own work or that of a writer that inspires them. There is no cost to join and even if you don't want to read, TPOM invites you to join and be an audience member.

We do something a wee bit different every month. Last month it was Show 'n Tell, this month: MANNA (where everyone is invited to bring something that has extraordinary value to them and to no one else.) Next month? Who knows? Something a wee bit different. Come join us amid the sometimes bustle of coffee, tea and cupcakes, one Tuesday a month, at the Looking Glass Cafe.

Our mission: to publish a monthly literary digital magazine in Greensboro with the support and literary work of our group of writers and poets. We need poetry, prose, scripts, articles, essays and more. We will have guest speakers, brain storming sessions, workshopping and opportunities to be published.
